Donate a laptop!

What to donate

We want to provide good quality kit, so we need a good starting point.  Please follow this simple guide.

Yes please!

  • Windows or MacBook Pro laptops
  • In working order
  • Newer than 2012
  • Windows 8 or 10
  • Intel Core i3/5/7 preferred

No thanks!

  • Broken, battered or unsafe laptops
  • Old laptops, released before 2011
  • Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7
  • Intel Atom
  • Less than 2Gb memory

It doesn't matter if Windows will not start, or if the battery is a bit tired, as long as it turns on and is not too old or feeble, we will be able to upcycle your laptop.

If you are unsure, please ask. Let us know the make and model and we will check it out.

Or, you can type the type the model name into Google, adding the words 'review' or 'release date' and you're likely the find the answer.

Cornubia community centre, Par

Open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, 10.00-14.00.

There is a box for your laptop, just inside the door at the Moorland Road entrance.


Archie Browns health food shops in both Truro and Penzance

Penzance is open 9.00-17.00 Monday-Friday, 9.00-15.00 on Saturday.

Truro is open 9.30-17.00 Monday to Saturday.


Please ensure that the laptop(s) meet the minimum requirements, put them in a bag with the chargers and add your name.

If you can't reach one of the drop-off points, please get in touch.
